What is your ethnicity?

I’m British, of Black mixed heritage: part Jamaican, New Zealand, German Jewish.

What do you do and what do you love about it?

I have two roles: I’m the Head of Operations and People for It’s Nice That, and Marketing and Creative Partnerships Director for Where are the Black designers? I love being able to create spaces and opportunities that centre authentic culture, creativity and people in everything in I do.

What motivates and inspires you?

My family, partner and friends motivate me. I’m very lucky to have an incredible unit around me, whilst they may not all be based locally.

Both teams inspire me. I’m always in awe of how passionate, invested and conscientious they are. It’s infectious and I’m lucky to be surrounded by others who both inspire and challenge - in the best way!
