‘obaa bi’ loosely translates to ‘random girl’ in twi. i’m the random girl!
i’m a ghanaian-irish illustrator and animator based in london. i have an unhealthy obsession with colours, stickers and animal crossing.
inspired by my life and the environments around me, i love to create art that is fun, relatable, colourful and that gives positive vibes. i really enjoy the process of turning negative feelings and situations into positive ones through art and colour.
i am also big on black representation and self love, and you will see this in my work.

obaabi house is a studio and brand that represents all the different creative things i like to do.
i tend to find interest in lots of different creative pursuits (recently, i've been learning to crochet!) i don’t like the idea of being boxed into doing just one thing - i like to experiment and see how i can apply creativity to different mediums. i like to experiment, and obaabi house allows me to do that without feeling restricted to one thing.
in other words... this is my house! come on in and get comfortable!
