My ethnicity is Mixed: White and Black Caribbean

What do you do and what do you love about it?

I'm an artist, maker and designer, and I love the freedom, playfulness, and creative outlet it gives me. I love that I get to do something that is meaningful to me and that I create the agenda for. Making things has always been my absolute joy.

What motivates and inspires you?

I get inspiration from so many places, to the point where it's too much and my brain needs a rest! It could be a colour combination I see walking down the street, products in a gift shop, artwork in a gallery, or things people post on social media. What motivates me is holding the dreams and visions in mind that excite me, and knowing that the things I do now are steps towards that, even if they're just tiny ones. I also grew up in an area where I didn't feel represented or seen, which I think has played a huge part in my tenacity to make my mark as an adult.
