What do you do and what do you love about it?

I am currently working as a Freelance Social and Content Strategist at TMPW. While it’s the start of a new journey, what excites me the most is being able to work with different clients; helping employer brands understand and attract the right audience digitally, benefiting both potential employees and employers alike. At my core, I define myself as a Creative Strategist and Visual Storyteller for Social Impact. Whatever project I undertake, my ultimate goal is to effect positive change. I infuse creativity into every aspect of my work, making each output not just effective but also captivating.

What motivates and inspires you?

I was born in Jamaica and moved to London at the age of 9. My story is deeply profound, filled with separation and loss yet also with hope and faith. I have always been deeply connected to my roots and always will be; I’ve learnt to be grateful for my experiences that have shaped who I am today. Although I didn’t grow up super fortunate, I had more than others and my parents sacrificed a lot to provide me with a better life and education. I carry a strong sense of pride in my Jamaican heritage, a driving force behind my determination to surpass my expectations and make both my country and family proud of the woman I am becoming. Moreover, the untimely loss of my father at 17 only fuelled my resolve to honour his legacy through hard work and perseverance. Throughout it all, my unwavering faith in God has been my anchor, empowering me to reach for the seemingly impossible… because with Him all my dreams are possible.
