✿ SELF PROMOTIONAL UNI BRIEF ✿
for this project, i was required to work on multiple quick-turnaround projects that, when looked at together, would create something that is evidently me and my style.
01 DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD
the first project was to create a double page spread on the theme of utopia.
my utopia is basically somewhere i can go to forget about life’s worries. it can be accessed through a portal, in which i enter and time stops in the real world. i am then transported to a world where i can do whatever i want, whether that’s relaxing, catching up on work or eating (i like food a lot).
so... that’s what i drew.
we were limited to using only 2 colours for this project, so i made use of a lot of negative space so that i could tecnically have 3 colours.
i wanted to continue this theme and colour palette through the remaining projects, so i could have a cohesive set of nice things ☺

02 CUT/FOLD SELF PROMOTIONAL ARTEFACT
next, i was tasked with creating something i could use to promote myself, but with a twist. rather than having a boring business card, i was to make something using cut/fold techniques, so that it stands out.
i went with pop-up business cards. you can fold the business card, and a picture will pop up. the pop-upimages were from my utopia, and are the different activities i’m passionate about: playing games, listening to music, reading, and making art.

finally, i had to create a set of gifs. i used this opportunity to bring my utopia to life in different ways. teh mysterious portal, my character falling through said portal, and finally, being welcomed with some fun words.
