i created this project for a uni project in which we had to create illustrated artefacts for a particular memorable date. i decided to create artefacts for what would have been nina simone’s 90th birthday.

my objects were a sculpture which featured music references (the earrings and necklace), a limited edition album in vinyl form with an exclusive illustration, and an illustrated piano which references her love for piano and classical music.
